South Side encourages all adult attendees to participate in the life of the church in the following three ways: Celebrating, Connecting, and Contributing:
We gather weekly to celebrate what God is doing in our lives and the Church. At South Side we do this in two locations at 2 different times…service times here
We experience Biblical community throughout the week as we connect with others through our connection groups & social events. At South Side we use a system of Connection Groups that meet for approximately 13 weeks, then take a brief break. Some meet on Sunday mornings, some meet at our MacArthur Campus on Wednesday nights and some meet thru the week in various locations around Springfield. Each year we have 3 months where we emphasize everyone joining one of these Connection opportunities… August, January and May. You can find a Connection Group that works for you here:
We impact our world as we contribute to God’s work by using our unique talents, passions, and resources. We believe everyone has talents and gifts God has given them for the advancement of His kingdom. We want to partner with you to discover the best place for you to serve using those talents combined with your passions. If you haven’t yet, we encourage you to take a Spiritual Gifts Assessment to discover some of the gifts you may have waiting to be used.
